Nadim Kassar has literally built and projected his business and banking career on that motto:

He is the son of a conservative and prominent Beirut family, well known for its high professional and personal values, persistence and perseverance. These qualities have instilled in Nadim Kassar the insight and the knowledge prerequisites to embark and develop a result driven business career that aims at achieving effectively, the carefully set business goals and objectives without comprising his values, while staying very well focused on an ambitious strategic vision.

Nadim is very proud of his heritage. His grandfather Wafic Kassar was an accomplished judge respected most by his steadfast principles and his commitment to the Lebanese community. Wafic Kassar was appointed ambassador to Pakistan then to Turkey. He is the founder of the School of Law in Lebanon and its first dean and remained in this position until the retirement age. To this day, Wafic Kassar is considered one of Lebanon's most prominent and highly regarded judges.

His uncle Adnan Kassar is a visionary business leader recognized nationally, regionally and internationally. Nationally Adnan Kassar was a Minister of State of the Republic of Lebanon and earlier served as Minister of Economy and Trade. He chaired the Federation of Lebanese Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for three decades as well as established and headed the Lebanese Economic Organization. His dynamism, charisma, personal care and devotion to the private sector and economic development programs paved the way for his election and re-election for several terms as chairman of the General Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for the Arab countries, thus heading the only real representative of the Arab private sector as this organization groups Chambers from the 22 Arab countries. Internationally, he was the first Arab to become President of the World Business Organization, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), based in Paris.

His father Adel Kassar is a successful banking personality and an accomplished businessman. He is the Executive Deputy General Manager of Fransabank sal and also Chairman and Board Member of many of Fransabank Group subsidiaries in Lebanon and abroad. He is a former Chairman of the Association of Banks in Lebanon and is the Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Hungary in Lebanon.

Nadim Kassar, guided by the leadership attributes of his uncle and father, has drawn on their wealth of business expertise to start, develop and advance his career. Nadim has a bachelor degree from the American University of Beirut in Business Administration obtained in 1986. During his university years, he used to spend enough time at A.A.Kassar, the trade and investment company of his uncle and father which they founded in the year 1949. Immediately after his graduation, he joined his uncle and father in A.A.Kassar to become at a later stage its General Manager. Together with his responsibilities in A.A.Kassar, Nadim used to join in the afternoon his uncle and father in Fransabank to complement his business knowledge with banking and finance knowledge and expertise. He joined the Bank in the 1990, to advance a career that has already been marked with important achievements and promises more of the same good things to come.

He occupies the following positions in Fransabank Group:
. Chairman General Manager of Fransabank SAL (Parent Company of Fransabank Group)
. Chairman and General Manager of BLC Bank SAL (subsidiary)
. Founder and Chairman of Fransabank El Djazaïr SPA (subsidiary)

Nadim Kassar is the father of four children, Mira (born in 1988), Tamara (born in 1991), Tania (born in 1994), and Adel (born in 1999).
